HARRY D. SHEPHERD

Harry Shepherd (of Shepherd Enterprises) is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance.   He has over 50 years of experience in business, including sales and marketing, property management and financial consulting. Since 1989, he has been concentrating on helping small business owners create and maintain accurate business records for tax purposes, but more importantly for their own knowledge on an up-to-date basis.

Harry has specialized exclusively with Intuit products since the inception of QuickBooks.  He spends many hours training on each new release so that he can best serve his clients with whatever version they use. Each client ‘s business, and level of experience with QuickBooks, is unique.  Harry tailors his service to meet those individual needs.  His clients have numbered over 900, running the gamut from an abalone farm, a hot air balloon ride company, several death row attorneys, as well as medical offices, restaurants, wholesalers, and a large variety of retailers and service providers.

Harry does not do tax work, audits or financial planning.  After all these years in business (and a large family raised!) he wants to keep busy doing only QuickBooks work.  As he says, “I don’t play golf but it is so much more rewarding and challenging to serve such diversified clients.  I am constantly learning and teaching.  I no longer need to make a generous living, but I need to be useful and by solving clients' QuickBooks needs, I know that I am.”
